Journal Statement of Intent

Here is a helpful suggestion (I hope) for getting your Tarot Journal started.  On the first page of your Journal start things off with your own 'Statement of Intent'.  This ~Statement~ should be along the lines of why you are starting or writing a tarot journal to begin with.  Here is my own;

Statement of Intent

I am starting/writing this tarot journal in order to help me learn the tarot and the tarot cards.  To learn their multiple layers and depths in order to enhance my intuition and make it so my conscious and subconscious can communicate with one another and thus open the many pathways of my mind.

So give the Statement of Intent a shot just to see what you end up writing.  It can be very illuminating.  As time goes by go back and read your Statement and update or change it since the next time you look at it you will be a different person and your Statement may (will probably) have took on a different meaning/goal.
